I generally try to keep my posts about federal issues to a minimum, but...Timor-Leste is struggling to provide medical aid, food and shelter to a lot of people that have been devastated by recent floods. The destruction and hurt cannot be put into words. I join Pat Conroy MP in calling for the federal government to deploy defence assets such as Helicopters and Naval Ships to assist the Timor-Leste Government reach the isolated communities left without any help.I'm also please that Eastern Colour will be donating the proceeds of the "Pick Your Own" day next weekend to help those in need from Timor-Leste.     BREAKING // $20 million for drought resilience for BREAKING // $20 million for drought resilience for the Southern Downs. 

$8 million for the detail design of a pipeline connecting Toowoomba to Warwick. $4.6 million for Allora groundwater, $1.4 million for industrial groundwater and $4.5 million for Leslie Dam pumping upgrades.

    BREAKING: #Restrictions will ease from 6am tomorro BREAKING: #Restrictions will ease from 6am tomorrow, Thursday 15 April.

#Masks will not be required except at airports or when flying.

You should always carry a mask and wear it in crowded places where social distancing isn’t possible.

Visitors will be allowed in hospitals, aged and disability care as soon as facilities are ready.

You can stand up to eat and drink in pubs and clubs, and dancing will be allowed.

Stadiums, theatres and cinemas can operate at 100% capacity.

Gatherings of up to 100 people will be allowed at private residences.

As always, if you’re sick – stay home and get tested.

    Still lots of flooding around with more western pl Still lots of flooding around with more western places waiting for their second flood in only a few weeks. Many others have started the process of recovery and dealing with the damage to crops and fences. 

Thank you to @markfurnermp for visiting our region today to inspect some of the damage and listening to some of those affected.
