    Still lots of flooding around with more western pl Still lots of flooding around with more western places waiting for their second flood in only a few weeks. Many others have started the process of recovery and dealing with the damage to crops and fences. 

Thank you to @markfurnermp for visiting our region today to inspect some of the damage and listening to some of those affected.

    UPDATE: There have been a lot of questions about m UPDATE: There have been a lot of questions about mask wearing today, below is the official information from Queensland Health.

FACE MASKS (applicable across the State):

All Queenslanders must carry a mask at all times when they leave home, unless they have a lawful reason not to.
 
You must wear a mask in indoor spaces, such as: 
• Shopping centres, supermarkets, retail outlets and indoor markets
• Hospitals and aged care facilities
• Hospitality venues such as restaurants and cafes (not required for patrons while seated, customer-facing staff only)
• Churches and Places of Worship
• Libraries
• Indoor recreational facilities and gyms (more advice about gyms will be released by Queensland Health in due course)
• Indoor workplaces (where safe to wear a mask and you can’t physically distance)
• Public transport, ride shares and taxis
• Airports and travelling on planes

It is strongly recommended you wear a mask when outdoors if you are unable to stay more than 1.5m distance from other people, such as busy walkways or thoroughfares.

    Well the flood waters have started to go down... a Well the flood waters have started to go down... albeit very slowly. This is a video of the water bubblers filling the Goondiwindi Water Park. It’s amazing to see. Thanks Rob Mackenzie Councillor GRC for the intel.
